My name is Luxia Yang, I was born in Guilin China and first learned massage therapy there in 2001 at the Guilin School of Massage Therapy. I worked for several years at a local hospital providing tuina massage therapy to patients.
In 2010 I moved to the United States and studied massage therapy at the Myotherapy College of Utah in Salt Lake City in 2012-2013. In 2013 I became a licensed massage therapist in the state of Utah and I am also currently Nationally Certified through the NCBTMB and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
My massage is a combination of Chinese TuiNa, deep tissue, segmental or rehabilitative massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, and guasha (a Chinese method of scraping to help underlying issues arise to the surface).
